WavesFlo is an Interakt alternative for consumer businesses whose customers write to many numbers: one for each store, branch, dealer or sales team. Interakt suits D2C brands that want chatbots, a WhatsApp store and payments, and its Sales CRM centralises sales chats on one number. WavesFlo puts every number in one shared inbox, with an owner for each chat and access set by role and by number.
Interakt, from Jio Haptik, covers marketing, support and commerce on WhatsApp, Instagram and RCS, and sells a Sales CRM with pipelines and automatic lead assignment. A business with many stores, branches or teams often works differently: each has a number customers already know, dealers and partners sit in WhatsApp groups, and every enquiry needs an owner. That is the job WavesFlo is built for. Every Interakt fact below comes from its own site, checked on 5 October 2026.

When is Interakt the better pick?
- You sell D2C and want a WhatsApp store: a catalogue synced from Shopify, WooCommerce or Excel, a checkout bot and WhatsApp Pay.
- You want Interakt's chatbot builder, with branching flows on Advanced and AI agents as an add-on.
- You want a sales pipeline, contact owners and sales reports in the same tool as the chats.
- The team sells from one central number, and Instagram messages belong in the same inbox.
- You run Click-to-WhatsApp ads and want to launch them from the same place.
- You want to try it on your own first: a 14-day free trial with no credit card.
When is WavesFlo the better pick?
- Each store, branch or team has its own WhatsApp number, and customers know it. Link each number by QR code from WhatsApp's Linked devices; the phone keeps working, every number's chats land in one shared inbox, and replies go out on the number the chat arrived on.
- Each number should reach only the people who work it: a number is open to the whole workspace, or limited to the teams and people you name, to see its chats or to operate as it.
- Dealers, distributors or channel partners talk to you in WhatsApp groups. Groups sit in the same inbox as direct chats, and campaigns can go into them as well as to lists. Managing many WhatsApp groups covers the routine.
- Every enquiry gets an owner: round-robin hands new chats out in turn within a team, on Growth and Enterprise, and a manager can hand any chat on with its notes. Each team sets AI replies to answer, draft for review, or stay off.
- Follow-ups should not add per-message charges: WavesFlo does not meter messages, and each number has daily and hourly ceilings instead.
- Your CRM is HubSpot or Zoho CRM: once an admin turns syncing on, WavesFlo logs one-to-one messages as notes on the matching contact, and contacts imported from the CRM arrive with unknown consent, because being in a CRM is not agreeing to WhatsApp messages.
