A WhatsApp sales pipeline keeps the enquiry and its conversation in one place. In WavesFlo an opportunity opens from a message with the thread attached, moves through stages and close reasons you set, carries tasks, and feeds a forecast weighted by stage. WavesFlo keeps a sales pipeline on its own WhatsApp conversations, with no quotas and no lead scoring; your CRM stays the record for everything else.
How does an enquiry become an opportunity?
- From a message: one action on the chat, or a reaction, opens an opportunity with the thread attached.
- From Incoming: a number marked for sales opens enquiries rather than support tickets, and each waits in one column until someone takes it or passes it on.
- By hand: an opportunity can be created directly in the pipeline.
What does the pipeline hold?
| Part | What it does |
|---|---|
| Stages | Set per pipeline, from a standard B2B starting point |
| Close reasons | Why a deal was won or lost, set by you and reported on |
| Tasks | A task with a due date; overdue ones are counted per person |
| Timelines | Every opportunity, company and contact keeps its own history |
| Saved views | Your own buckets of opportunities |
| Amounts | Kept per currency and never summed across currencies |
What can you see?
A dashboard shows the open pipeline by stage, a forecast by close window (overdue, this month, next month, later and undated), the funnel from enquiry to win, why deals are won and lost, and who is selling. The forecast is weighted by stage, which is an estimate, so it is labelled one. A hierarchy shows who reports to whom, with a team's results rolled up the chain and transfers between people.
What is deliberately missing?
There is no quota, no target and no lead score, because the product holds none and a drawn one would be a claim it cannot keep. It also keeps nothing about a deal that never came through WhatsApp: your CRM stays the record for that, and HubSpot or Zoho CRM can take one-to-one chats as notes once an admin switches syncing on.
How should you name the stages?
Name each stage for something the customer has done, not something you have done. “Quote sent” is your action; “Quote opened and questions asked” is theirs. Stages defined by the customer are harder to move by habit and give the forecast more to stand on.
| Stage | Enters when | Next task |
|---|---|---|
| New | An enquiry has arrived and has an owner | First reply |
| Qualified | Need, budget and timing are known | Send a quote |
| Quoted | A quote is with the customer | Follow up before it expires |
| Negotiating | The customer has asked for changes | Agree terms |
| Won or lost | A decision is made | Record the close reason |
Where does it sit?
Opportunities are opened from the chats a team already handles, across every linked number, under the same roles and access as the rest of the workspace. WavesFlo for sales teams shows the pipeline next to assignment and the HubSpot and Zoho CRM notes.

Questions
Can I run a sales pipeline in WhatsApp?
Yes, on the conversations WavesFlo holds: opportunities opened from a message, stages and close reasons you set, tasks and a forecast.
Does WavesFlo score leads or set quotas?
No. The product has no lead score, quota or target, so none is reported.
Is the forecast a promise?
No. It is weighted by stage and labelled as an estimate.
Does it replace my CRM?
It covers the WhatsApp conversations only; your CRM stays the record for everything else.
