WATI and AiSensy sit at opposite ends of the same market. WATI is a paid, tiered platform with users, extra numbers and automation limits that rise by plan. AiSensy leads with a free plan, an Unlimited Users model with fair-use limits, and add-ons for chatbots and AI, and it prints its per-message rates. Both pass WhatsApp's charges through.

What is the real difference between WATI and AiSensy?

  • WATI sells capacity: users, automation triggers, API calls and AI credits climb with the plan. AiSensy sells the platform cheaply and charges for the pieces you add, such as a chatbot builder.
  • On groups the two are not close. WATI offers them on one plan with conditions; AiSensy's guide says groups are not supported or synchronised through the Cloud API.
  • AiSensy pages describe a coexistence mode for eligible Indian numbers, so the WhatsApp Business app and AiSensy can run on one number, in beta and not self-serve.

Which should you pick, WATI or AiSensy?

Pick WATI if:

  • You need a clear ladder of plans that grows with a team, and integrations of 100 or more.
  • You may want groups, and can run them on Business.
  • Automation and API limits are part of the decision.

Pick AiSensy if:

  • Cost is the first filter and a free plan matters.
  • Your team is many people on one number and you do not want to pay by the seat.
  • The job is broadcasts and a chatbot on one number.

How do they fit three kinds of team?

What should you test in a trial or demo?

  1. Send the same small campaign through each trial and compare delivered counts, cost and time.
  2. Build one chatbot flow in each and note what is an add-on in AiSensy and what is included in WATI.
  3. Ask both what happens to the price when the team doubles.
  4. Confirm which of your numbers qualify for AiSensy's co-existence beta, if you need it.

What are WATI and AiSensy not built for?

Both are shaped around one WhatsApp number's customer messaging. If groups are part of the work, or if customers write to many numbers, neither pricing page describes it.

That is the case WavesFlo was built for: every number links from its own phone, and its groups arrive beside its direct chats in a shared inbox for all your numbers. There is a single plan, priced for the year on numbers and team members, and nothing is counted per message.

Everything above is what each vendor's own pages listed on 27 October 2026. Plans, prices and limits change, and billing period, country and currency can change the figure, so confirm on the live pages.
