WATI sells three plans in India, Growth, Pro and Business, and its pricing page led with quarterly billing when we read it on 27 October 2026: ₹2,699, ₹5,799 and ₹16,799 a month. Each plan has a 7-day free trial with no credit card. Each includes a set number of users, extra users on Pro and Business cost more, an extra WhatsApp number is a further ₹2,499 a month per number, and message charges are billed on top by category. WhatsApp groups are on Business only, so a trial on Growth or Pro cannot test them.
What do WATI's plans cost and include?
| Compared on | Growth | Pro | Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price, billed quarterly | ₹2,699 a month | ₹5,799 a month | ₹16,799 a month |
| Users included | 3, no additional users | 5; more at ₹1,299 a user a month | 5; more at ₹2,199 a user a month |
| Broadcasts | 15,000 a month at standard rates | Unlimited at standard rates | Unlimited at volume discounts |
| Automation triggers a month | 1,000 | 2,000 | 5,000, with unlimited automations |
| Chatbots and webhooks | Chatbots to start; no webhooks | Connected chatbots; third-party webhooks | Extensive webhooks |
| API calls a month | 10,000 | 200,000, limited webhooks | 20 million |
| Integrations | 2 select commerce or CRM integrations | 5, including HubSpot | Unlimited, including Salesforce |
| AI credits a month | 2,000 | 5,000 | 20,000 |
| Astra agents | 1 | 2 | Unlimited |
| Extra numbers | Not stated | Not stated | Listed as a feature; add-on ₹2,499 a month per number |
| WhatsApp groups | No | No | Yes, with limits |
The page also offers monthly and annual billing, but those prices were not in the text we read. For comparison, our 5 October 2026 reading of the monthly-billed figures was ₹2,999, ₹6,499 and ₹18,499, so the billing period moves the price by a meaningful margin. Which integration sits on which plan is set out in WATI integrations by plan.
What is not in the plan price?
- Message charges. WATI bills marketing, utility and authentication messages by category and points to a rate card rather than printing the rates.
- Extra users: ₹1,299 a user a month on Pro and ₹2,199 a user a month on Business. Growth lists no additional users at all.
- Extra WhatsApp numbers: ₹2,499 a month per number. The page does not say which plans can add them.
- Automation triggers and AI credits, both sold as add-ons.
Which WATI plan do you need: Growth, Pro or Business?
Growth suits a team of up to three on one number sending broadcasts. Pro suits five people who need a HubSpot sync, connected chatbots and webhooks. Business is for Salesforce, unlimited integrations, groups and extra numbers. Business costs more than Pro at every team size, so only its features can justify it.
- Growth to Pro: ₹3,100 more a month, a rise of 115%. You get unlimited broadcasts instead of 15,000, 2x the triggers, 20x the API calls, HubSpot, webhooks and 2.5x the AI credits.
- Pro to Business: ₹11,000 more a month, 2.9x the price. You get 100x the API calls, unlimited integrations including Salesforce, 4x the AI credits, groups and extra numbers.
- Neither step changes the number of users much: Growth, Pro and Business include 3, 5 and 5. The steps are about capacity and integrations, not headcount.
- Pick Growth if you are three people or fewer, on one number, sending under 15,000 broadcasts a month, and two integrations and no webhooks are enough.
- Pick Pro if you are about five people, need HubSpot or webhooks, and want broadcasts that do not hit a cap.
- Pick Business if you need Salesforce or more than five integrations, WhatsApp groups, or the API capacity of a large estate.
- If you need groups, price Business from the start: groups are not available on the other two.
What does headcount do to the bill?
| Team | Growth | Pro | Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 users | ₹2,699 | ₹5,799 | ₹16,799 |
| 5 users | Not available: 3 users, no more | ₹5,799 | ₹16,799 |
| 8 users | Not available: 3 users, no more | ₹9,696 | ₹23,396 |
| 15 users | Not available: 3 users, no more | ₹18,789 | ₹38,789 |
Both upper plans include 5 users, so Business starts higher and charges more per extra user. At every size Business costs more than Pro, by the gap in the base plan plus the gap in the per-user price. Users alone never justify Business.
Does WATI have a free trial, and what does it cover?
Yes. WATI offers a 7-day free trial on all three plans, Growth, Pro and Business, with no credit card, as its pricing and home pages present it. Confirm which plan the trial runs on before you rely on a feature, because groups exist only on Business. No free plan is listed after the trial.
| Item | What the page says |
|---|---|
| Length | 7 days |
| Plans | Growth, Pro and Business, each with a 7-day free trial |
| Card | No credit card, per the home page |
| Groups | Business plan only, on a verified number; 7 outside participants a group |
| Numbers | Extra numbers are a paid add-on; the page does not say whether the trial includes one |
| Message charges | By category from a rate card; whether the trial includes any credit is not stated |
| When it ends | Not stated: ask whether the account converts, pauses or closes |
- Seven days is short for a team that needs to set up chatbots, integrations and a first campaign, so plan the days before you start.
- If groups matter, ask for the trial on Business, not Growth.
- Extra users are charged on the upper plans, so test with the number of people you will really have.
What should you test before the WATI trial ends?
- Before day 1: list the chatbots, integrations and campaigns you need to try.
- Day 1: connect your number and check whether it needs the verified badge.
- Days 2 to 3: build one chatbot flow and one integration.
- Day 4: send a tiny campaign and read the message charge it produces.
- Days 5 to 6: put two people on the inbox and watch for double replies.
- Day 7: decide the plan, and ask what the price will be at renewal.
What do WATI's 1,000, 2,000 and 5,000 automation triggers and its AI credits buy?
WATI meters automation in two units, triggers and AI credits. Growth allows 1,000 triggers and 2,000 AI credits a month, Pro 2,000 and 5,000, Business 5,000 and 20,000 with unlimited automations, and both can be bought as add-ons. A trigger is the unit to understand first, because a busy chatbot can use a month's allowance in days.
| Compared on | Growth | Pro | Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| Automation triggers a month | 1,000 | 2,000 | 5,000 |
| A day's budget over 30 days | about 33 | about 66 | about 166 |
| Automations | Not stated | Not stated | Unlimited |
| AI credits a month | 2,000 | 5,000 | 20,000 |
| A day's AI budget over 30 days | about 66 | about 166 | about 666 |
| Both sold as add-ons | Yes | Yes | Yes |
- If every inbound message from a customer fires a trigger, 1,000 triggers is about 33 customer messages a day. A shop with 200 chats a day would use its Growth allowance in five days.
- If a trigger fires once per conversation, not per message, the same allowance lasts far longer. The pages we read do not say which.
- AI credits go the same way: a reply that costs several credits shortens the allowance.
- The jump from Growth to Pro doubles triggers and costs 115% more; from Pro to Business it multiplies them by 2.5 and the price by 2.9.
What the pages do not say, and what to ask WATI: what exactly counts as a trigger (a message, a conversation or a rule firing), what happens at the limit (do automations stop, or bill), what an add-on pack costs for each, and what one AI credit buys, a reply or a part of one.
Are WhatsApp groups included?
Not on the pricing page, which does not mention groups for any plan. WATI's help article says groups are available only on the Business plan, on a number with Meta's verified business badge, with at most 7 outside participants a group. WATI and WhatsApp groups sets out the limits.
What does a 15-agent team on 10 numbers pay?
On Business, as the page reads: the plan at ₹16,799 includes 5 users, so 10 more users at ₹2,199 is ₹21,990, and 9 extra numbers at ₹2,499 is ₹22,491. The total is ₹61,280 a month billed quarterly, before any message charges. It assumes the plan includes one number and that Business can add the others, which the page implies but does not spell out.
What does WATI cost at three team sizes?
| Team shape | Monthly, billed quarterly | Plan used |
|---|---|---|
| 5 agents, 1 number | ₹5,799 | Pro |
| 15 agents, 10 numbers | ₹61,280 | Business |
| 40 agents, 30 numbers | ₹166,235 | Business |
The first shape fits Pro, which includes 5 users. The others use Business, with extra users at ₹2,199 and extra numbers at ₹2,499 each, assuming the plan includes one number. These totals are arithmetic on the printed figures; message charges and any add-ons come on top, and the page does not say which plans can add numbers.
How should you read a quarterly price?
A figure shown as a month billed quarterly is paid three months at a time, so the first invoice is three times the headline. Ask whether the price rises at renewal, and whether the monthly and annual prices differ, as they did when we last compared them on 5 October 2026.
Where is WATI the better pick?
WATI is the stronger fit for one-to-one customer messaging that leans on chatbots, broadcast campaigns and a wide integration list: the page cites more than 100 integrations, and the plans scale automation, API calls and AI credits in clear steps. Rupee pricing and a 7-day trial make it easy to try. WATI compared with WavesFlo sets the two side by side, including where WATI is the better choice.
Where does WavesFlo fit instead?
If the job is many numbers answered by one team rather than one number's campaigns, WATI's meters on users, numbers and triggers are what grow, whereas WavesFlo puts every number into one shared inbox, each linked from its own phone, and meters neither automations nor messages. Keyword replies, a chatbot and AI replies are set per team, and the single Enterprise quote is built on the connected numbers and team members you run, billed annually.
