Tools differ most on how they count a number. Periskope says it supports upwards of 1,000 and bills each phone after the first. DoubleTick says 500 or more on one account. TimelinesAI lists unlimited numbers but gives each a seat. WATI sells an extra number at ₹2,499 a month per number. Gallabox and Wassenger list one per plan. Several vendors, among them Interakt, AiSensy and respond.io, state no number limit on their pricing pages. The table reports what each stated on 27 October 2026.
What does each tool state about numbers?
| Tool | What it states | What an extra number costs |
|---|---|---|
| Periskope | upwards of 1,000 numbers; QR link per phone | First free; then $25 a month (Starter) or $35 a month (Pro) |
| DoubleTick | 500+ on one account; broadcasts and automations per number | Quoted |
| TimelinesAI | Unlimited; each number needs one seat | A further seat: $35 per seat a month or $49 per seat a month |
| WATI | Every connected number in one inbox; operators assignable per number | ₹2,499 a month per number |
| Gallabox | One WhatsApp number per plan; channel add-ons | ₹1,200 a month each; whether an add-on can be a number is not stated |
| Wassenger | One number per plan | Not stated |
| ChatDaddy | 1, 2, 3 or 5 channels by plan | $29 a month |
| Interakt | Not stated on the pricing page; the Sales CRM add-on uses one shared number | Not stated |
| AiSensy | Not stated; its pages describe one Business number | Not stated |

| WavesFlo | Up to 50,000 connected numbers, subject to plan | Quoted on the numbers and team members you run |
What limits does every tool inherit from WhatsApp?
Tools that link a number from the phone, rather than moving it to Meta's Cloud API, use WhatsApp's own linked-device rules. Each number takes one of the four linked-device places on its account, and WhatsApp logs linked devices out if the phone goes unused for 14 days. Each number also has its own sending limits and its own risk of restriction, which is why a per-number health score and a daily and hourly allowance matter more than the headline number count. WhatsApp number health explains the signs.
What should you check for each number?
- Who owns the phone, who keeps it powered, and what happens when it goes offline.
- Which team and which people can see its chats, and which can reply.
- Its own daily and hourly ceiling, and a cooldown per person across campaigns.
- What happens to its groups, and who is admin of them.
- What the price does when you add the next ten.
How was this put together?
Every figure was read from the vendor's own pricing, home or help page on 27 October 2026, and each page is listed under Sources. Where a page was silent, the guide says so rather than infer; where the text we could read disagreed with an earlier reading, both are given. Third-party price lists were not used, because they disagree with each other and with the vendors by wide margins. WavesFlo is a vendor in the field, so its row is held to the same rule: it states what its own site states, and the comparison is open to correction.
How do you count your numbers?
Count every number a customer can write to, not every phone. A store with a landline-style number and a manager's own number is two. Include numbers that are quiet now but used in campaigns, and numbers a partner runs for you. The count that matters for pricing is the one the vendor uses, so ask how it counts a number before you compare totals.
Where does WavesFlo fit?
The how-to is in managing multiple WhatsApp numbers from one inbox.
Once the count runs to dozens of store, branch and team numbers, WavesFlo links each from its own phone and lets you open a number to everyone or only to the teams and people you name, inside one inbox for every number. Each keeps its own health score and recovery action, and the quote follows the numbers and people you actually run.
Questions
How many WhatsApp numbers can I manage in one tool?
It depends on the tool. Periskope says upwards of 1,000, DoubleTick 500 or more on one account, TimelinesAI unlimited with a seat each, and WavesFlo up to 50,000 subject to plan.
Do I need a separate subscription for each number?
Some tools list one number per plan, such as Wassenger and each Gallabox plan. Others, such as Periskope and WATI, add numbers to one account at a stated price.
Does linking many numbers raise the risk of a restriction?
Each number has its own risk. Pacing, per-number ceilings and a cooldown per person matter more than how many numbers you hold.
What is the safest way to run many numbers?
Give each number its own allowance, keep phones used and powered, and spread a campaign across several numbers with modest daily shares.
